Zach is an archaeologist and geoarchaeologist interested in how people lived in ancient desert landscapes. He has a PhD in Archaeology from Tel Aviv University, and is currently a research associate at Brown University, and a teaching fellow at Babson College. His research has focused mainly on archaeological dung, and in particular the wondrous things dung can tell us about the ancient world.
